Simphiwe Mehlomakulu formed part of the Gas Game Panel at AOP 2017.

Most of Africa’s gas reserves are locked in four countries and as many as 40 countries have yet to discover any gas at all. But the resource map is changing as countries as new countries join the gas economy and learn how to monetize the resource. Through LNG exports and gas to power developments, natural gas is expected outpace other resources in the African energy matrix for decades to come.
