ADNOC Distribution and Reatile Group sign Long-Term B-BBEE Agreement for Proposed South Africa Acquisition

  • ADNOC Distribution and Reatile Group have agreed a long-term strategic relationship in connection with the proposed acquisition of Shell Downstream South Africa, as announced to the market in July 2026.

  • The partnership reflects ADNOC Distribution’s commitment to advancing the objectives of South Africa’s Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment (B-BBEE) framework and its support for the country’s strategic economic priorities, including energy security, job creation and inclusive economic participation.
