69MW Onshore Wind Farm

Msenge Emoyeni Wind Farm

Reatile Renewables, as a 38% equity holder in the ACED-AIIM-Reatile Consortium reached financial close on 5 March 2023 with Sasol South Africa Limited as offtaker. The 69MW wind facility reached commercial operation date in 2024 and is currently operational. The energy will originate from Msenge wind farm located near the town of Bedford in the Eastern Cape province of South Africa. The renewable energy generated by Msenge will enable Sasol to produce green hydrogen that can be supplied to customers to enable them to decarbonise their operations or will be utilised within Sasol’s own operations to produce sustainable products such as ammonia or methanol.
